What is depression for me? I can more easily tell you what it isn't.
It's not painting my face white, and wearing black clothing. It's not staring into space for hours on end. It's not uncontrollable sobbing. It's no longer suicidal feelings. It's probably not something I would ever truly be able to explain to anyone else. What is it then? It's the curse of seeing everyone else happy, joyful, content in their lives, showing love and tenderness towards one another. It's seeing people in love. It's a warm family in the park. It's a girl on the beach with her dog. It's a carefree guy having a coffee on his way to work. It's seeing people who are together. It is people who fit in. It's me not being any of those.
