Things are once again really well for the most part. I got another promotion at work. For the first time now I broke the 100k barrier. It's a nice feeling. The other side is that I have been quite blue lately. Not quite sure what it is, but as much as I can switch off at work and focus nicely, I come home, and suddenly I start to feel somewhat crushed by some great weight. Perhaps it's the solitude here, but I doubt it. I was never one to care about that. Funny old world really.

Oh, on a side note, I have recently rekindled my absolute love for the Pirates trilogy. It's an amazingly good three movies. Yes, it gets dark after the first one, but it's so gloriously intertwined within itself as the plots grow fomr one to another. Barely short of masterful.

Also, I recently (and finally after much longing) bought Rome season one. It's like watching Deadwood but in ancient Italy. If you are a fan of this sort of series, I can only but strongly recommend watching it.
